How to Adjust for Temperature-Sensitive Spaces
If a sensitive space has exceeded a desired temperature range; for example, you do not want a server room to exceed 80°F, you can configure it to be notified if the space raises above this temperature.
This type of ‘Safe Range’ temperature notification is not always directly related to the operation of your HVAC equipment. It is a notification designed to alert you of a space exceeding a configured temperature range. Fluctuations may result in alarm notification.
I received a ‘Safe Temperature’ notification, what should I do?
Many times a safe temperature range notification is not a requirement to have enabled because they are only designed for spaces that are sensitive to temperature swings.
These types of notifications are more directly related to the operation of your HVAC equipment; therefore, these notifications are generally better for 90% of our customer’s operations because when notified and reacted upon, preventative measures can be taken to prevent damage to your HVAC equipment.
